About Horsemanship

Recently.  I've been on a real push to form a connection with my horse.  To try and have him want to be with me.  To want to cooperate with me.  To want to be my friend.  I hope to some day get to a point where I can fully trust him to be off lead, and off collar, and out of the fence.  To work with him where he has total freedom.  To do amazing things that I have never done before, but have witnessed so many times before.
Natural Horsemanship is something almost underscribable, and can't be put into words.  Its not something you read from words on a page, or a voice on the Internet.  I wish I could describe it to you.  But that is something you have to figure out yourself.  Something that you have to come up with a definition for, all on your own.
I believe that I can trust in myself to know what to do, and that I don't need to watch hours of video, take on hourse of reading.  It just takes patience.  You will not be able to get this connection within an hour.  It takes time, commitment, and understanding.
I know this was probably not what you were looking to read.  But this site is gonna be different.  And if you and I don't think on the same page, its probably not for you.  But please.  Don't be discouraged!  Have a look around and enjoy it and remember.  Lay low, and have fun!
